There are so many types and iterations of cartridges out there, refill instructions are not straight forward. Even my PG-275XL had different casings. I finally decided to use my own drill bit in the air hole to give syringe access. the hand driver drill bit they send with kit is way larger than necessary for syringe tip. Also they tell you to not insert syringe too deep, but apparently it must be deep enough to puncture sponge and they don't tell you that. After i made the hole I only inserted syringe slightly and ink ran back out when i tried to inject. I felt bit hit sponge and turns out i had to drill slightly more to puncture sponge. Ink was then accepted and then was able to do several prints that look great.
I did the math. The refill kit cost less than a new cartridge and i should be able to get at least 15 more refills. That is a crazy savings.
